There were over 5,000 volunteers in Kansas City this year for Christmas in October. I was able to volunteer again because of Mike Heim's dedication year after year to organize the event. I met Mike through Grace Church and he organizes people from Grace and people at Sprint that he works with.
Thanks Mike for continuing to be a house captain and for spending your time putting this together. I know the home owners greatly appreciate it but so do the volunteers like myself who just want the opportunity to go and do the work for the day.
