Rebuilding my back door stair steps. Do it yourself construction.

I added the stain to complete the back door stair steps project on Saturday, September 30th, 2006. This was a good do it yourself home improvement project for me to learn construction techniques and build something that will last and I can be proud of. I have learned to do home improvement projects like this by experimenting and making plenty of mistakes, but I have learned to measure twice and cut once. for this outdoor staircase I used pressure treated lumber. I plan to do the same in the future when I construct a 15 foot square deck in the backyard, it will be low to the ground with no rail. I plan to landscape around the deck so the whole look will be sort of like a Japanese garden.
